Police and firefighters are responding to an incident in a residential street in which petrol is believed to have been thrown into a property.

Police and firefighters on Thursday responded to an incident in a residential street in which petrol was allegedly thrown into a property.
Officers were called to Lilli Pilli Dr in Southport at about 2pm on Thursday.
Initial reports indicated an accelerant was thrown into a house near the junction with Coolibah St.
It is not known if anybody was at the property at the time.
No injuries were reported.
