Commuters heading northbound can expect delays after a single-vehicle crash on the Pacific Motorway this morning.

A Queensland Police Service spokesperson said that the driver of a Holden Commodore lost control of the vehicle around 8.20am on Thursday, causing it to veer into the central barrier.

Delays are building from Exit 45 near Pimpama.

The QPS spokesperson said neither police nor any other emergency services attended the scene.

Traffic has now cleared.
