A 51-year-old Gold Coast man has died after a horror motorcycle crash on the M1 as police launch a search for witnesses to the tragic events.

A 51-year-old Gold Coast man has died after a horror motorcycle crash on the M1 as police launch a search for witnesses to the tragic event.
The Pimpama man died in hospital overnight, three days after the incident occurred at Molendinar on May 11 when a motorcycle and car collided in the southbound lanes of the Pacific Motorway.
The motorcyclist was taken to the Gold Coast University Hospital in critical condition but later died of his injuries.
Three people inside the car – a 45-year-old man, 67-year-old man and 20-year-old man, were not injured.
Police are appealing for any witnesses or anyone with dashcam vision of the incident to come forward.
The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating.
