18-year-old man stabbed in chest outside Robina Town Centre on the Gold Coast

A man has been rushed to hospital after being stabbed in the chest outside Robina Town Centre on the Gold Coast.

A man rushed to hospital after being stabbed outside popular Gold Coast shopping hub Robina Town Centre has refused to lay a complaint with police about it.

Gold Coast police were alerted to the alleged stabbing after an 18-year-old man was dropped off at Robina Hospital at around 10pm on Wednesday. He is believed to have a stab wound to his chest.

The man was assessed by hospital staff and was taken to Gold Coast University Hospital due to his injuries.

Gold Coast police spoke with the man who claimed he was stabbed outside Robina Town Centre.

However, the teen refused to lodge a complaint, and it’s understood that means police are unable to pursue the alleged offender.
