Whales off Torquay are delighting school holiday beachgoers soaking up the warm weather.

Splashes and spouts have been seen off Point Danger.

In recent days, the sea creatures have been spotted feeding and frolicking in the sunshine.

Onlookers said there were multiple whales in the pod.

Whales were attracted by large run of fish, which also drew in hundreds of seabirds and had local anglers rushing for their boats and rods.
