Paul Grapsas murder: Belmont teen accused of killing Geelong man appears in Supreme Court

A Geelong teenager accused of killing a man as he walked his dog near his bayside home has faced the Supreme Court.

A Geelong teenager accused of killing a man as he walked his dog near the waterfront has appeared in the Supreme Court.

Bailey Clifford, 19, is charged with murdering Paul Grapsas near his bayside home last year.

The respected former TAC employee’s body was found on Mercer Street on September 14.

Clifford, from Belmont, appeared via video link for a preliminary hearing in Melbourne on Monday in preparation for a potential jury trial.

He is pleading not guilty to the murder charge.

He is next scheduled for a mention hearing before Judicial Registrar Elizabeth Tueno on August 30.
