A Corio mum who bashed a woman and threatened her with a knife during a terrifying armed robbery has been jailed.
Abynei Lacey, 27, was sentenced to three years in prison in the Geelong County Court on Friday after pleading guilty to a single count of armed robbery.
A dispute between Joshua Scicluna and his housemates led to his associates, including Lacey, her then-partner Dylan Zorkau and her father Timothy Thomas, going to a Lovely Banks home on January 2 this year.
Inside a bathroom, Lacey admitted to holding a knife towards the victim and slapping her across the face.
The court heard she pointed the knife at the victim’s neck and said: “Hand over your phone – erase it and set a new password or I’ll shave your f– ken head.”
Lacey then punched her in the head, causing her to fall down, and was joined by Thomas in the bathroom.
The court heard Lacey pretended to hit the victim a few times as the pair laughed at her, before she punched her again.
The victim sustained cuts and bleeding to the inside of her mouth, and described her face as red and swollen.
A judge sentenced her to three years behind bars on Friday, with a two year non-parole period.
The court heard 298 days of that had already been served.
Timothy Thomas, 54, was jailed for 118 days and received an 18-month community corrections order (CCO) for his involvement inside the Cox Rd property.
He was wielding a baseball bat and “tormented” the victims, along with the co-accused.
Scicluna has received a 12 month prison term followed by a 12-month CCO, while Zorkau is yet to be sentenced.
