A man in his 80s has been hospitalised after his car collided with a freight train in Inverleigh
Emergency crews responded to collision between a car and a freight train, with a man in his 80s being taken to hospital by ambulance.

A man in his 80s has been hospitalised after a crash between his car and a freight train in Inverleigh on Monday afternoon.
Emergency services were called to the scene on Railway St just after 3pm, with six CFA units responding alongside SES, police and paramedics.
The elderly driver of the car was trapped in the vehicle. Emergency crews extracted him and passed him into the care of Ambulance Victoria.
He was the only person in the car and was transported to Geelong hospital after being treated for upper-body injuries.
The driver of the train was not injured in the collision.
CFA deemed the incident was safe at 4:25pm.
Police urged anyone who witnessed the collision or had dashcam footage to contact Crime Stoppers.
