HOBART DJs and musicians are spinning tunes to keep people dancing through isolation every night at 6pm.
A new social media page called Fresh Rotations has been launched, streaming a set from a different DJ each evening.
Fresh Rotations co-creator George Williams said acts such as DJ Miele (aka Mel Scavone), Zios and Hugo Bladel have played to audiences dancing along at home.

“We’ve got a roster of 40 different acts, so every day is going to be different,” he said.
“We have every resident DJ from Salamanca bars and clubs like Cargo, Grape, Mobius and OBar.
“We’re hoping to build on it and get new acts all the time
“I have a feeling that it’s going to blow up on a local scale.”
Mr Williams encouraged up and coming DJs to register their interest to play.
He said they had a sophisticated set up for the stream which includes a green screen to project customised graphics and backgrounds on to.
“The thing I like about it is you don’t have to play certain songs because you’re in a certain venue, you can be yourself.”
Mr Williams said it had been a difficult time for local musicians with no gigs.
“It’s been tricky, I’ve spoken to artists and they’re quite shaken. To have the whole foundation of what you’re working for ripped out from under you is scary.”
