TASMANIAN tourism identity Brett Torossi has listed a multi-award winning couples retreat for sale.

The lavish Rocky Hills Retreat on the East Coast is positioned to take in views of Great Oyster Bay and Freycinet from his private bushland location.

Set on 124ha of land, the property features a hybrid power system plus an art studio, which was once a church and is located 300m from the retreat.

The modernist, luxury accommodation has a decadent kingsize bed, a well-equipped kitchen, modern bathroom, a tub on the deck and a living area with wood and gas heating.

Over the years, the retreat has scooped up architecture, sustainability and tourism awards.

Ms Torossi is selling the retreat to investing in a “transformative project” in Tasmania.

“I’m excited about the new plans, which we will be able to reveal when they are further advanced,” she said.

“Rocky Hills Retreat has delivered a lot of joy to Tasmanians and it will be great to see that continue with new owners at the helm.”

Knight Frank agent John Blacklow said through Covid-19 the retreat generated a consistent cash flow and extraordinary guest reviews.

“This is a lavish retreat that could be bought as an investment with a current high income stream, or alternatively a holiday home for a discerning buyer,” he said.

“Rocky Hills Retreat is well deserving of its many awards for architectural design and tourism.”

No.11901 Tasman Hwy, Rocky Hills will be sold by expressions of interest closing September 2.
