A 19-year-old man was taken to hospital after the car he was travelling in smashed into a Tablelands property early Friday morning.

The vehicle was travelling along Equestrian Dr in Tolga about midnight when it left the road, flipped onto its side and struck a building on the property.

Emergency services responded about 12.30am; paramedics transported the teenager to Atherton Hospital in a stable condition.

He has since been discharged, according to a hospital spokesman.

A police spokeswoman said investigations were ongoing.

“There was a fair bit of structural damage,’ the spokeswoman said.
