Three Bentley Park teens have racked up 56 charges for multiple offences

A teenage trio from Bentley Park are facing 56 combined charges for multiple offences including theft, drug possession and unlawful use of a motor vehicle.

Three youths have been charged with a combined 56 offences.

A trio of Bentley Park teenagers are facing 56 charges including theft, drug possession and unlawful use of a motor vehicle.

Officers from the Cairns property crime unit have charged three boys for their alleged involvement in multiple offences across the greater Cairns area.

On Sunday, a 15-year-old Bentley Park boy was arrested and charged with 20 offences including eight counts of enter dwelling, six counts of unlawful use of a motor vehicle, two counts of attempted enter dwelling and one count each of contravene a direction or requirement of police officer, enter premise, receiving tainted property and unlawful possession of suspected stolen property.

On Monday, two boys aged 13 and 14 were located at a Bentley Park unit and charged with multiple offences.

The 13-year-old Bentley Park boy was charged with 18 offences, including 11 counts of enter premise, four counts of stealing, two counts of attempted enter premise and one count of unlawful possession of suspected stolen property.

The 14-year-old Bentley Park boy was charged with 18 offences including 11 counts of enter premise, and one count each of attempted enter premise, enter dwelling, possess dangerous drugs, stealing, unlawful possession of suspected stolen property, unlawful use of a motor vehicle and wilful damage.

Both boys were denied bail.

All three will appear in Cairns Children's Court at a later date.
