Teenager taken to hospital after being stomped by cow

A teenager has been taken to hospital after being stomped by a cow at a private property in the Far North. Here’s what we know.

A young man has been taken to hospital after being injured by a cow on the Atherton Tablelands on Sunday morning.

Emergency services were called to a property at Glen Allyn near Malanda just before 8am after reports a person was being stomped by a cow.

A Queensland Ambulance Service spokesman said a teenager was taken to Atherton Hospital in a stable condition following the incident.

“It appears there was an incident with a cow and a male in his teens.” he said.

He said the incident occurred on a private property.
