A 44-year-old woman who had been missing since May 11, has been found alive and well, police have confirmed.
Cooktown resident Sarah Ashworth was declared missing by family members after travelling to Cairns on May 6.
Earlier this week police sought public assistance to locate a woman missing from the Cairns area since Thursday.
The Cooktown resident travelled to Cairns on May 6. She had phone contact with a friend on Thursday, May 11, but had not contacted family since.
