Police attend domestic disturbance at Goldsborough

Police have responded in numbers to a domestic disturbance following reports of loud screams coming from a Far North home on Tuesday morning.

Police have responded in numbers to a domestic disturbance at a home in Goldsborough.

Officers were called to an incident at Downing Road at about 11am on Tuesday.

After arriving multiple officers took up with a group of people at the address.

Nearby residents reported hearing loud screaming from the area leading up to police involvement as well as reporting multiple police cars at the Peets Bridge crossing.

A Queensland Police Service spokeswoman said no one was injured during the incident.

Despite reports of arrests police stated no one was taken into custody.

Investigations into the incident are ongoing.
