Man killed in single-vehicle crash on Atherton Tablelands
Authorities are investigating a single-vehicle crash that killed a 63-year-old Peeramon man on the Atherton Tablelands on Friday morning.

Authorities are investigating a fatal single-vehicle crash that occurred on the Atherton Tablelands on Friday morning.
Police confirmed a 63-year-old man died in the accident at Peeramon, 70km southwest of Cairns, while travelling along Anderson Road.
The man’s Mazda Bt-50 utility left the road and collided into a tree at around 11.30am, investigators said.
The driver was declared dead at the scene with the Forensic Crash Unit now examining the circumstances that led to the crash.

The death of the Peeramon man followed a fatal crash outside Mossman on Sunday and the fatal motorcycle crash that claimed the life of 20-year-old Cassowary Coast man Brendan Rigano on the Bruce Highway in January.
The death of the Peeramon man was the third road fatality in Far North Queensland so far this year.
