Gurmehar Kaur and Oliver Bright have been crowned Far North Queensland’s cutest toddlers for 2024.
The pair were voted FNQ’s cutest toddler, girl and cutest toddler, boy respectively by Cairns Post readers.
Gurmehar’s mum Sukhpaljeet Mann Cheema said she was very happy to hear her daughter was voted one of Cairns’ cutest.
“It was her third birthday (recently) so this was very special. She is the first child in my family. We struggled with infertility but we got blessed with her and she is loved by everyone in our family and friend circle,” Ms Cheema said.
Ms Cheema said Gurmehar’s favourite things were playing with her family, listening to stories and playing with her new toy make up stand.
“She’s a daddy’s girl, always waiting to play with him. She loves to play with her little brother who is one and a half. She can’t read yet but loves to listen to stories and is excited to one day go to school,” she said.
Winning the votes for Cairns cutest toddler, boy, was 14-month old Oliver Bright.
