Record crowds rocked up to the Great Northern Bull Riding series in the Tablelands last weekend, for the sixth round in the popular series.
GNBR director Peter Brown said more than 1200 people attended the Mossman event on September 28.
“It was the largest crowd we’ve had in Mossman since the series was created four years ago,” Mr Brown said.
“This year was a good year for crowds, with around 1200 to 1300 people there.”
Punters can catch the next GNBR event at Savannah in the Round on Saturday, October 12.
“They treat us like artists, so we’ve got a Saturday afternoon session,” he said.
“It’s just something different for the people – a great afternoon of country music and bull riding.”
The GNBR series grand final will take place in Atherton on November 9.
