Edmonton man Peter Powell missing from Cairns City found

A 56-year-old Edmonton man, with a medical condition, has been found after he was reported missing.

AN EDMONTON man who was last seen on Tuesday afternoon in Cairns City has been found safe and well.

Police located Peter Powell, 56, on Wednesday afternoon about 5.30pm.

Police initially had concerns for Mr Powell due to his medical condition but have since thanked anyone involved in the public response to find the missing man.

MAN MISSING

AN Edmonton man, with a medical condition, has been reported missing from Cairns City.

Peter Powell, a 56-year-old Edmonton man, was last seen on Tuesday at 2.30pm on Mulgrave Road and has not made contact with anyone or been seen since.

Mr Powell is described as Aboriginal, approximately 175cm tall with a proportionate build, grey hair and brown eyes.

He was last seen wearing a multi-coloured shirt, black shorts and blue shoes.

Police are concerned for Mr Powell who is missing with a medical condition.
