Police are seeking public assistance to locate a Cairns girl who has been missing for a week.

The 14-year-old girl was reported missing from Manunda on Friday, November 28.

She was last seen at roughly 2:30pm on Anderson Street, near the intersection of Martyn Street and Severin Street and has not been seen or heard from since.

The girl is described as First Nations, roughly 150cm tall with a slim build, dark brown hair and brown eyes.

Her family and police are concerned for her welfare and police are urging the girl or anyone with information regarding her whereabouts to come forward.

Investigations are ongoing.
