Traffic reduced on commercial road following Bungalow car crash

Traffic has been reduced on a busy commercial road following a multi-vehicle crash in Bungalow on Wednesday afternoon.

Traffic has been reduced on a busy commercial road following a multi-vehicle crash in Bungalow on Wednesday morning.

Emergency services responded to reports of a three-vehcile crash on the corner of Doyle Street and Scott Street around 1pm.

A Queensland Fire Department spokesman confirmed two crews were on scene.

“One of the vehicles was partially blocking the road, so crews are working to remove them,” the spokesman said.

The incident is believed to have involved a van and a uitlity truck, with all occupants self-extricating from the vehicles.

A Queensland Ambulance Service spokeswoman confirmed four patients were assessed on scene, however none required transportation to hospital.

“Four patients were assessed, but no injuries were reported and all declined transport (to hospital),” the spokeswoman said.
“It looks like it was a nose to tail situation across all three vehicles.”

It follows a separate crash in Edge Hill where an adult and a child were rushed to hospital on Wednesday morning.

Emergency services responded to reports of a two-vehicle crash on Greenslopes Street, Edge Hill around 7.50am.

A Queensland Ambulance Service spokeswoman confirmed crews has assessed six patients on scene, two adults and four children, with two taken to hospital.

“We’re looking at transporting one adult female with neck pain and a young male child, where the airbag was deployed in the face,” the spokeswoman said.

“Both are stable.”

The spokeswoman confirmed part of the road was blocked to traffic.
