A man is in a life-threatening condition at Cairns Hospital after emergency services responded to a near drowning at a Northern beaches home.

An adult male has been rushed to Cairns Hospital in a life-threatening condition following a near drowning incident at a private residence in the Northern Beaches.
Emergency services were called to the residence in Palm Cove just before 4pm on Tuesday, November 10.
“There were three units on scene from about 3.52pm Tuesday afternoon,” a spokeswoman from Queensland Ambulance Service said.
Paramedics transported the male patient to hospital a short time later.
A spokesman for Cairns Hospital said as of Wednesday morning the patient remains in a critical condition.
