A man has been charged by police after allegedly exposing himself while walking down a main street in Far North Queensland, while armed with a knife.

A man has been charged after allegedly exposing himself while walking down a main road in Atherton.
Police allege a 34-year-old White Rock man was spotted walking down Robert Street, a section of the Kennedy Highway, without any pants on around 8:40pm on Wednesday March 20.
The man was also allegedly found to be carrying a knife in his jacket pocket, according to police.
A QPS spokeswoman confirmed multiple people had witnessed the alleged incident but it was unclear how many people were at the scene at the time.
The 34-year-old was charged with three counts of stealing, one count of wilful exposure and one count of possess a knife in public.
He is due to appear in Atherton Magistrates Court on April 9.
