Woman, 32, charged with murder after man found dead in Queensland home

A woman has been charged with murder after a 72-year-old man was found dead in his Logan property.

A woman has been charged with murder after a man died at a home in Logan.

Emergency services were called to a Basie Court home in Brown Plains, Logan about midday on Monday after the man, 72, was discovered unconscious and not breathing.

The man was declared dead at the scene.

An crime scene was established.

The 32-year-old Browns Plains woman was taken into custody at the scene, and has since been charged with Murder (Domestic violence offence).

She is due to appear in Beenleigh Magistrates Court on Tuesday.

Investigations are ongoing.
