Two men shot, car set alight after public place shooting in Sydney’s west
Two men have been shot and a car and tree set alight following a horror alleged public place shooting on a busy daytime street.

Two men will be rushed to hospital after they were found suffering multiple gunshot wounds following an alleged public place shooting in Sydney’s west.
Police were called Church St in Parramatta shortly after 5pm on Sunday following reports of a shooting.
Officers located two men suffering multiple gunshot wounds in a car at the scene.
Another two men, who were uninjured, were also located inside the vehicle.
The two injured men were treated at the scene by NSW Ambulance paramedics and will be taken to hospital for further treatment.
A short time later, police were called to Sherwood St in Merrylands where they located a car and nearby tree well alight.
Fire and Rescue NSW were able to extinguish the blaze, but not before the vehicle was destroyed.
In a statement, NSW Police said they would probe whether the two incidents were linked, with a crime scene established at both.
