Emergency services were called to Speedy St in Molong, near Orange in New South Wales, on June 9 last year after reports of a crash between a ute and a sedan.

Police had alleged Mr Armstrong had driven his ute at speeds of 140km/h towards Ms Armstrong’s sedan as it was travelling.

Two passengers were also in the sedan driven by Ms Armstrong at the time of the crash.

They were each treated for minor injuries by paramedics.

A spokeswoman said he was “immediately given first aid and taken to hospital but was pronounced deceased”.
