Man in 60s rushed to hospital in critical condition after suspected backyard pool near-drowning in Kurrajong
A man is fighting for life after nearly drowning in a backyard swimming pool at a property west of Sydney.
A man has been rushed to hospital in a critical condition after drowning in a backyard pool in Sydney’s west.
Paramedics were called to an address on Gross Vale Rd in Kurrajong - west of Richmond - after 11.30am on Monday.
A NSW Ambulance spokeswoman said a man in his 60s was treated by officers before being rushed to Hawkesbury District Hospital in a critical condition.
NewsWire understands the man was pulled unconscious from the pool by people at the property, who commenced CPR until paramedics arrived.
Police are at the scene conducting inquiries.
