Man dies after being trapped under lawnmower on private property

A man has died after he became trapped underneath a lawnmower on a rural property.

A man has been crushed to death after a lawnmower fell on top of him at a rural property.

Emergency services were called to the property on Black Mountain Rd in Black Mountain, in rural Queensland, after 8.20am on Saturday following reports of a trauma incident.

It is believed the man had been working underneath the lawnmower when it fell on him.

According to Queensland Ambulance Service, the man sustained life-threatening injuries.

NSW Police confirmed the man was subsequently pronounced dead.

A report will be prepared for the coroner.

Black Mountain is a small town in Queensland which is located around 27 km west of popular holiday destination Noosa Heads and around 132 km north of Brisbane.
