Man, 41, dies after horror e-scooter crash in Lake Illawarra, southern NSW
A man has died after falling from an e-scooter in southern NSW overnight, with another man now assisting police with their inquiries.

A man has died after falling from his e-scooter before allegedly being struck by a car in a horror incident on a road in southern NSW.
The e-scooter rider had crashed onto the roadway, sustaining serious injuries before being struck by a passing vehicle, NSW Police said in a statement.
Emergency services were called to the intersection of Kanahooka Rd and Brolga St, Kanahooka just before 7pm.
The rider, 41-year-old man, was assisted by bystanders before NSW Ambulance paramedics arrived, but he died on scene.
The vehicle driver, 59-year-old man, was uninjured and was taken to hospital for mandatory testing.
He was then taken to Lake Illawarra Police Station where he is assisting with inquiries.
Officers have now established a crime scene, and will investigate the circumstances of the incident.
