Emirates has confirmed its cabin crew desperately tried to save the life of a man who died on a flight from Dubai to Sydney.

An Emirates flight from Dubai has been unable to disembark at Sydney airport after a passenger died on board.
Australian Federal Police and NSW Ambulance were called to a plane on the tarmac about 6:20am, where a 66-year-old man was treated by paramedics.
Despite the efforts of first responders, the man died at the scene.
NewsWire understands he died of natural causes.
The emergency saw passengers stranded on the plane, unable to disembark, for some time after landing.
Emirates confirmed a passenger was found unresponsive on board flight EK412 from Dubai to Sydney on Tuesday.
“Our cabin crew administered CPR; however, the passenger had sadly passed away,” a spokesperson said.
“Upon arrival, the flight was met by local authorities. There was a brief delay in disembarking passengers, and to the flight between Sydney and Christchurch to allow all relevant authorities to complete their investigations. Emirates expresses its condolences to the family.”
NSW Police are investigating the circumstances of the man’s death, with a report to be prepared for the coroner.
