Police are investigating after the body of a man was found floating in water near Sydney’s busy Star Casino.
The body was discovered in waters off Pirrama Wharf at Pyrmont about 7.30am on Friday.
In a statement, police said the man is yet to be formally identified but is believed to be aged in his 50s.
An investigation has been launched into the circumstances surrounding the man’s death.
The body was retrieved by local police with the assistance of the Marine Area Command.
