Territorians are “next on the list” for Australian entrepreneur Adrian Portelli – with the billionaire set to give away $100,000 worth of groceries on Tuesday for struggling Territory families.

Mr Portelli, known to many online as “Lambo Guy” and renowned for his giveaways and recent purchases on The Block, has pledged to put $100,000 on a Coles tab for families doing it tough.

In a story shared to Instagram, Mr Portelli said the tab would be held at 9.30am Tuesday, December 17, for Territorians shopping at Coles in Palmerston Shopping Centre.

A Coles spokesperson said extra measures had been put in place for the event.

“Our team member and customer safety is our priority during this generous giveaway, so we have engaged additional security to ensure any queue for gift cards will be properly managed,” they said.

The move follows a history of donations by Mr Portelli across Australia – including most recently on December 3 in Western Sydney, where he donated more than $150,000 worth of groceries for struggling families in Penrith and Fairfield West.

The day prior he completed a similar giveaway in Tasmania, offering $75,000 worth of gift cards to residents in Hobart.

With Christmas around the corner, Mr Portelli has urged Territorians to spread the word to help those in need.

“I want to get people there on a big scale so I can help as many people out as I can,” he said.

“If you need help, if you need assistance, get down there.”

Mr Portelli is currently facing nine counts of conducting or assisting in the conduct of an unlawful lottery, and his company LMCT+ is facing 10 counts of the same.

His company LMCT+, a private lottery business, is home to more than 100,000 subscribers and offers prizes including homes, cars and cash.

Mr Portelli will face the South Australian Magistrates Court on January 15.

If convicted on all charges he could face a maximum penalty of $190,000.
