Three boys are on the run from police after they allegedly threatened an elderly man with an edged weapon before stealing his car shortly after.
Police received reports about 8.30pm on Sunday of a 71-year-old man who had allegedly been threatened by three boys on Moray St, Karama.
NT Police allege one of the boys was armed with an edged weapon.
It was alleged the trio then stole his white 2018 Toyota Corolla and fled the scene.
The alleged offenders remain at large at the time of publication.
Detectives from Strike Force Trident are investigating this incident and are urging anyone with information to contact 131 444 and quote reference number NTP2500041238.
