Woman killed in car crash near Broome Racecourse

A woman has been killed after her red Mercedes rolled along a road at a popular resort town.

A woman has been killed after her vehicle left the road and rolled near a popular holiday town in Western Australia.

The 32-year old woman was driving a red Mercedes station sedan north along Kravite Road in Minyirr, near Cable Beach, near the Broome Racecourse.

Sadly, the female driver sustained critical injuries and died at the scene.

There have been 118 recorded deaths on WA roads this year, the RAC reported that WA had the worst road fatality rates in Australia.

Major Crash officers are investigating the fatal car crash which occurred about 8.10am on Friday.

Any witnesses or anyone with footage related to the crash is asked to contact Crime Stoppers.
