Queensland Police investigate boy’s death after being struck by bus at Buderim
Police are investigating the death of an 11-year-old boy after he was struck by a bus while riding a bike.

An 11-year-old boy has died after he was struck by a bus while riding a bike on the Sunshine Coast.
Emergency services were called to reports a bus was travelling along Jingellic Dr, near Karawatha Dr, in Buderim when it struck a bicycle. about 3.45pm on Thursday.
The boy was taken to Sunshine Coast University Hospital with life-threatening injuries.
Queensland Police confirmed the boy has since died in hospital.
The Forensic Crash Unit is now investigating the crash.
The CDC bus driver, a man in his 60s, was not physically injured, and is assisting police with investigations.
Another person was also taken to Sunshine Coast University Hospital in a stable condition.
It’s understood the man was on the bus at the time the crash.
Witnesses or anyone with relevant vision is urged to contact police.
The bus company CDC has been contacted.
