Driver’s furious note after parking act outside Coles

This motorist was infuriated by an SUV driver’s parking act outside Coles – and they let them know it.

The driver of an SUV has infuriated a fellow motorist at a Coles car park.

A man returned to his car outside the supermarket in Newscastle, in New South Wales, to witness a sight that made him snap.

He was outraged by how close a Range Rover had parked next to his Mazda, so he scribbled a note to express just that.

“Next time don’t be a c***head and park so close to a f***ing car!!!” a note placed on the Range Rover read.

Aussies are not shy to call out bad carparking, with multiple Facebook groups dedicated to doing so.

But it is often a contentious matter that prompts heated debates about entitlement or whether a person should be shamed online without knowing the full story.

Large SUVs and Utes are often in the firing line.

One group named ‘Melbourne Crap Drivers and Parkers’ has more 100,000 members.

Earlier this year, a note written by a frustrated homeowner to the driver of a car parked out the front of their house appeared it could have backfired.

A typed up note with a photo of a car parked on a road in South Australia instructed the “non resident” to “find a new location to park your car”.

“You have created problems for my gardener to park his car and trailer today, my cleaner yesterday and my guests to park their cars in front of our gate/home,” the note read.

“We have several celebrations including a VIP event coming up and prefer your car is not parked opposite our pedestrian gate especially so that the two limousines can park nicely opposite our home.”

But the note was seen by many more eyes than the author intended after it was shared on popular Instagram account ‘Just Adelaide Things’, which has almost 200,000 followers.

“It would be a real shame if people started parking there over the next few weeks,” the caption read.

One comment with more than 1000 likes in support said: “I have an unused car in my garage that I am willing donate to such a great cause.”
