I'm purposely wearing white to my ex's wedding

The brunette continues on by showing off two dress options - both being white, a highly talked about faux pas when it comes to wedding guest attire.

But for Caroline, unlike other guests who might be oblivious to the unspoken 'rule', she intends on wearing white on purpose

While she doesn't explain why she is invited to the wedding in the first place, the disgruntled ex shares that there is a reason she actually wants to go to witness her former lover tie the knot.

"I know you guys are probably wondering why I'm going to this wedding in the first place - and that's because this is the first time that Jackson has ever offered to pay for my dinner. We always split the bill when we were dating," she explains in the footage.

The wedding gift is the final sting

If the choice of dress colour wasn't enough, Caroline then shows her followers the "cute" gift she plans on giving the newlyweds - and it's the final sting in her plan for revenge.

"I actually got them a really cute gift. It's a scrapbook of Jackson and I's memories," she laughs, as she proceeds to show the old loved-up snaps of them together pasted in the book.

"This is the day we met his parents and this is what our future baby would have looked like if we ended up having one," she continues.

The gift was packaged up with a wedding card with a heartfelt message written inside: "He's your problem now", she read. "Ha ha, just kidding, have a wonderful marriage, love Caroline."

The woman ended the video with a note about wearing her highest heels to further annoy her ex, who was always shorter than her when she wore heels and that she might also take a little "extra make-up" in case she cries during the ceremony.

While many of her followers laughed at the share, others were puzzled as to why she would torture herself in such a way when she clearly hasn't been able to move on.

"I don’t get why you don’t just move on. It’s hard but whenever you're trying to ruin someone’s special moments you're really just being a douchebag," one person pointed out.

Another added: "This is unhinged."

Regardless of their thoughts, we bet all wanted to be a fly on the wall at that wedding reception!
