The mum who forgot her middle child's birth date
It can't be denied that being treated differently as the middle child is a thing.
Take for example the mum who recently realised she'd been celebrating her middle child's birthday on the wrong date for years.
Mum-of-three, Emily Vondrachek, shared a video to TikTok detailing the moment she realised she'd been celebrating her son's birthday on the wrong date for the last two years.
"Here's a little story to allow all the mum's of littles out there to maybe feel a little better about yourselves, here's a real confidence boost for you, OK, not for me," Emily says in the now-viral TikTok.
She explains that she'd just got off the phone with her almost-four-year-old son, Henry's paediatrician as they'd had trouble billing her insurance company.
"My son's birthday is the 26th, I'm his mother, I know his birthday," she says in the video where she explains that the insurance company says it's actually the 25th.
"I'm about to call up my insurance company to let them have it and I say, maybe I should scroll back on Facebook to look at the birth announcement years ago to make sure."
That's when Emily realises she's the one who's got the date wrong, and she's had it wrong for the last two years.
"For two years I'm been celebrating his birthday on the 26th," she continues.
"And now I have to call the paediatrician back and say, 'haha, you know what I had my son's birthday wrong'... And you want to know the worst part? It's my middle child!"
