A popular Australian influencer has shocked her audience by revealing a well-kept secret after years of building a following of more than two million.

The Gold Coast woman — sex worker Kayla Jade — is a mum of two.

She took to TikTok to confirm the rumours circulating about her private life.

"The centre of my world"

“I would rather share it with you myself than for you to hear it from people that don’t have all the information,” she said.

“The rumours are true, I am a mum of two beautiful kids that I am really proud of and are the centre of my world.”

Kayla has built her online following by sharing candid stories about her wild clients, and sharing footage of her counting the money she makes from working.

While the revelation came as a surprise to many fans, she explained her decision to keep it private was to protect her children.

“I am in a high-risk industry with a pretty large public platform, the one rule for sex work is don’t tell people about your private life because you risk them invading it,” she explained.

Kayla ended her video with an emotional message about the toll the speculation has taken.

“I’m not going to lie, it was pretty hurtful to see some of the comments and people’s assumptions of me. I’m hoping you can understand where I’m coming from and respect my privacy on this one,” she shared.

Although she’s now revealed the truth, Kayla made it clear she’ll continue to keep her kids’ identities private.

She also opened up about her relationship with their father.

“Me and the kids’ dad are super close and we co-parent together full time. No, we are not in a relationship but we are family and that’s what is most important,” she revealed.

“He is an anomaly, like there is no other person that would have supported me the way that he has, he stepped back from his career to be at home with the kids.”

Fans flooded the comments with support, praising Kayla for protecting her kids so fiercely.

“I had no idea, and for that, you’re a great mum,” another praised.

A third added: “Honestly this has made me love you even more!”

Others hit back at those who pressured her to share in the first place.

“The fact that people pushed hard enough for you actually feel the need to address this is f***ing insanity?!” one said.
