A mum is being blasted online for dressing her one-year-old in a revealing dress for a trip to Disneyland.
Christina, a mum from Florida, celebrated her daughter’s first birthday by planning a very special celebration.
The American family are massive Disney enthusiasts, frequently showcasing the day trips she takes with her daughter, Everleigh. In fact, they love Disney so much they visit the parks every single weekend, dressing their daughter in a themed outfit each time.
But it was the dress she chose when her daughter was only a year old that had people talking.

Mum dresses 1yo in “raunchy” outfit for first Disneyland trip
In the now-viral clip, Christina (also known as The Disney Barbie) filmed then-one-year-old Everleigh standing in front of Sleeping Beauty’s castle.
The toddler, standing alone with a string of pearls in her hand, looked at her feet before slowly walking around the theme park.

“Bringing my baby to Disneyland for the first time for her first birthday,” she captioned the video.
While the video seemed innocent enough, many people took issue with the way the child was dressed.
See, she was wearing a Minnie Mouse-inspired getup, with a tulle skirt covered in red and white polka dots, a pair of black socks and lace-up sneakers, and a backless black top, exposing the child’s shoulders and entire back.

The outfit was styled by Christina “from head to toe” and was styled with an absurdly long string of pearls and Minnie Mouse ears to finish it off.
In the following clip, Christina filmed her daughter, now four years old, standing in front of the same spot, wearing a similar outfit, this time keeping her skin a little more covered.
“Three years later, and over 100+ days spent at Disney,” she wrote.

“How was the sunburn after the first outfit?”
The clip quickly amassed over 1.7 million views, sparking a fierce debate about what was appropriate for a toddler to wear to the theme parks.
“Why would you dress her like that?” someone asked. “Why did you dress her like that when she was a baby?” another wondered.
“'How the heck is her outfit from her 4th birthday a little more modest than her 1st?” wrote a third.
“Girl, dress your child properly - the f**k?” someone wrote, stunned.
“First of all, why aren’t you putting an undershirt on your child? Second of all, a child should not be wearing anything like that.”
Some thought the outfit was “a little raunchy”, whereas others were concerned with the lack of sun protection.
“It’s not protecting her skin from the sun or bugs or anything,” a person pointed out. “I mean, it’s great that this girl gets to go to Disneyland often, but the clothing choice could have and should have been better, even if it just meant putting a shirt under.”
“How was the sunburn after the first outfit?” asked another.
But others didn’t see an issue at all.
“Why’s everyone so bothered about what the baby is wearing?” someone wondered. “She’s comfortable, so what’s the problem?”
“If mumma is OK with it, that’s all that matters,” another chimed in. “She’s a baby; she doesn’t need to cover up. Y’all are the weird ones.”
