After being less than impressed with her Kmart haul, a mother has taken to TikTok, leaving her with a "bone to pick" with them.
A daycare mum has gone on a rant about her daughter's daycare clothes that she purchased from Kmart. She starts the video by blasting everyone's favourite "bargain" store.
"Kmart, what the hell is going on? Get your sh*t together," she vents, as she holds up a pair of pink flower print shorts.
While she did acknowledge that Kmart is the place to get daycare clothes, given the price, she continued to rant about her "quick Kmart haul that no one asks for."
Who knew kids' shorts could cause such a dilemma?

"Get your sh*t together"
"I bought these two pairs of shorts today for my daughter; all those daycare mums out there, $4 for these, absolute bargain. They get the job done. I wanted to be in and out in five minutes. I didn't want to mess about with a 100 other things because I walk out with a hundred other things," she starts in her video.
"So I just grabbed the first two pairs of pants that said "4" on the sticker. And I just went to the registers. Paid for them, walked straight out," she continues.
"I didn't check the tag or the label because I have faith in the system. I really shouldn't need to worry about those sorts of things."
It wasn't until she got home that she started to rage against the bargain machine that is Kmart.
"When I got home, I held them up and realised they're two different sizes. Surely, someone has not labelled these incorrectly and put the wrong stickers on them," she says, firing up.

The sticker said 4, but it wasn't
As she points out, for "mums on the run," it's the sticker we look to for sizing, not the tag. One of the shorts, with a size four, was indeed consistent with the price tag and sewn in label. It was the bigger one, where things went pear-shaped.
"This one [the sticker] says size four. All trusty-faithful. The tag says size five, and the ticket says size six."
"This is not a joke!"
"Kmart, what the hell is going on? Get your sh*t together."
She continues: "I've heard of it happening, but it's never happened to me until today. And I can't even take them back because, call me lazy, I can't be bothered," as she lives over 1.5 hours away from the Kmart store.
She continued to rant and admitted she would be "ropable" if she had ordered this online and arrived this way.

Is this really a dilemma?
The video has over 170K views, with most commentators dismissing her rant and asking what the big deal was.
"This is a non-issue. You’ve got a larger size pair of shorts that she can wear once she’s grown into them. Always need to check when buying," one shared.
"I am so cross with myself for waiting the entire video to hear this ridiculous dilemma," clapped back another.

"I have a basket of girl shorts just because of this."
Others shared their incorrectly sized clothing "dilemma".
"Happened to me at Big W. I was buying a cute linen set for my son in 00. The hanger said 00, and the tag said 00, but the shorts attached to the top were a 000 all tagged together," one mama shared.
"Happened to me at Kmart. I got a pair of pants on the tag; it said size 8. The hanger said size 8, and because of pants of folded and clipped onto it," adds another unhappy customer.
"Yeah, this happened to me with my daughter’s Kmart pyjamas!! They were packaged together top was 4 and bottoms were 5," a third added.
And finally, a mum shared, "I literally have a basket of girl shorts just because of this."
A former Kmart employee entered the chat to clear up the drama: "As an ex-Kmart employee. We don’t label clothes. They come pre-labelled. So it’s a manufacturing problem."
The mum did admit towards the end of her 2.5-minute Ted Talk that it wasn't such a drama given "she would fit into it in six months." It was more that there were three different sizes on the one item.
