The mother-daughter duo, who have copped criticism in the past for their racy lingerie shoots, stole the red carpet at a glitzy LA gala.

The mother-daughter duo has faced backlash in the past for their racy photo shoots, but Heidi and Leni Klum have shown they are the definition of class after photos emerged of the pair at an LA event.

Both women wore strapless dresses to the Art Of Elysium’s 25th Anniversary HEAVEN Gala on Saturday, with the 50-year-old supermodel wearing a nude figure hugging dress that featured gold sequin embellishments in the shape of flowers. She wore her blonde hair down, and paired the outfit with gold bangles.

Meanwhile, Heidi’s look-a-like daughter Leni wore a tight, red sequin dress with a sweetheart neckline. The 19-year-old accessorised with simple jewellery, a choker with a flower design on her neck and her hair in a tight bun.

On the night, Leni uploaded a video of herself sitting on a storage box as her mother pushed her around. The pair were lip syncing to a quote from Kim Kardashian when she was asked why she wanted to take part in American Horror Story.

“Because it’s iconic. And I love to do iconic sh*t,” the Klums mouthed.

The mother-daughter supermodel duo have sparked repeated criticism in the past for posing in “creepy” underwear photo shoots together, with Heidi forced to turn off her comments on Instagram.

But that hasn’t deterred them. The pair most recently stunned in a Christmas campaign for Italian lingerie brand Intimissimi, wearing nearly identical crimson lingerie sets, holding wrapped red gifts.

Leni, who shared a series of photos to her Instagram, was bombarded with comments from critics, declaring they (once again) weren’t comfortable with the nature of the photo shoot. “Doing a photo shoot with your mother in lingerie is still weird,” one comment, which was liked more than 1000 times, read.

“There is something childlike about the daughter which makes it a bit creepy,” another wrote.

“Am I somehow the only one who thinks this is cringe?” a third said.

Meanwhile Heidi, who shared footage and imagery of the campaign to her own Instagram feed, simply disabled comments

Leni, 19, is the eldest daughter of Heidi and Italian businessman Flavio Briatore, and was also adopted by Seal in 2009. The Kiss From a Rose singer, 60, was married to the Victoria’s Secret model from 2005 to 2014.
