Chris Rock is set to finally address the infamous Oscars slap controversy in a stand-up comedy special that will stream live on Netflix.

Will Smith slapped 94th Academy Awards host Rock, 58, last year after the comedian made a joke about Jada Pinkett Smith’s hair — which Smith took as a jab at his 51-year-old wife’s struggle with alopecia.

The tone-deaf comment led the actor to hustle up to the Los Angeles Dolby Theatre stage and smack Rock in the face.

And while Rock has alluded to the incident in short quips in his stand-up performances over the past year, he is set to address it at greater length for the first time.

The show — titled Chris Rock: Selective Outrage — will be the first ever live-stream broadcast by the streaming service when it airs on March 4.

Rock will be joined by Amy Schumer, Jerry Seinfeld and Leslie Jones during the performance.

“If you were waiting to see Rock on tour address the infamous Will Smith slap situation ... the comedian is waiting to spill his humorous take on it on his live Netflix stand-up special,” a source close to the broadcast told Page Six.

The insider said Rock has been working with “veteran comedy writers” to ensure his jokes about the slap are “solid and funny.”

While another said: “People need to tune in till the last joke, they will not be disappointed.”

The special will be filmed at the Hippodrome Theatre in Baltimore and will air one week before the Academy Awards on March 12.

Other comedians who will appear on the special include David Spade, Arsenio Hall and JB Smoove. NBA legend Kareem Abdul-Jabbar is also slated to appear.

It comes as actor Will Smith poked fun at the slap controversy last week.

In a video posted on TikTok, the star appears to make a joke about the controversy he stirred at the 2022 ceremony.

Smith’s TikTok video, which has over 1.6 million views, sees the actor listening with intrigue to TikTok user @missmoneyworking in another video explaining that inanimate objects can tell you what they think of you.

“It sounds insane, but it will change your life, and by change your life, I mean it will make your life so much more interesting and fun,” the other TikToker said.

“You can pick up a pen and ask it how it sees you or what it thinks of you.

“And you will get an answer in your mind from your intuition. You can ask your car what it thinks of you, you can even ask money what it thinks of you.”

In the duet, the 54-year-old actor reaches off camera to pick up an Academy Award for Best Actor, which he won for his role in King Richard during the controversial ceremony.

He looks as though he’s about to ask his golden statue a question just before he ends the video.

Smith has since apologised saying his actions were “unacceptable and inexcusable.”

His wife Pinkett Smith also broke her silence soon after the incident.

“My deepest hope is that these two intelligent, capable men have an opportunity to heal, talk this out and reconcile,” she said during an episode of her Red Table Talk series last year.

Smith also announced his resignation from the Academy following the outburst, after the Academy Board promised a formal disciplinary review.

The board decided that Smith would be banned from appearing at the Oscars ceremony for 10 years following the incident.

The 95th Academy Awards hosted by late-night broadcaster Jimmy Kimmel takes place on March 12.
