The Perth couple won Sunday night’s living and dining room reveal — tying with Josh and Elyse on 29.5 points and scoring $5,000 each.

“It’s just been done with such skill. It’s actually skill that I’ve rarely seen on The Block, ever,” judge Neale Whitaker said of Ronnie and Georgia’s room, scrapping any questions raised about the couple’s design ability.

And it got better for Ronnie and Georgia.

Not only did they manage to redeem the $8,700 owed to them from Josh and Elyse, the latter couple was also busted renovating after-hours and made pay a $1,000 fine for a noise complaint.

UNDER ATTACK: Ronnie and Georgia accused of cheating

It was a positive result for Ronnie and Georgia who spent the previous week defending themselves against claims they’d copied the design of their kids bedroom from a professional design firm in Melbourne.

“I one hundred and fifty per cent did that whole room on my own,” Georgia said when confronted on Tuesday. “I did not have help from them. And I take pride in my interior design abilities and I won’t let you say that they helped me on that.”

Ronnie and Georgia are this season’s controversial couple on The Block.

Fellow competitor Jason escalated the claims on Tuesday and called a body corporate meeting which ended with Ronnie and Georgia coming under siege from the other teams.

“I didn’t really know that everyone at that body corporate meeting was going to start going crazy,” Jason said on Sunday, adding he regretted his decision to go public with the allegations.

After apologising to Georgia, he added: “It just got out of hand and it shouldn’t have been like that. I just wanted Georgia to know there was no intention to upset her at all.”
