Married At First Sight fan favourites Kerry and Johnny Balbuziente have announced they are pregnant with their first child.

The parents-to-be shared the happy news on Instagram on Thursday evening, revealing that after a long road to pregnancy, they are finally expecting.

“Baby B incoming, June 2024,” they wrote in a joint Instagram post. “Thrilled to be adding a much wanted and already so-loved member to our family.”

“Our journey took a bit longer than we’d hoped for but not as long as others. Thinking of everyone still on their path. JB and KB xoxo.”

They accompanied the happy news with a photo of them at home by their swimming pool, along with their dog.

MAFS couple Kerry and Johnny Balbuziente announced they’re expecting their first baby together.

Fans, friends and their MAFS family were quick to wish the couple congratulations, including MAFS expert Mel Schilling.

“Ooohhhh congratulations you two! I’m so delighted for you, you will be fabulous parents!” she commented.

Former MAFS bride Ella Ding, who appeared in Season 9 of the reality show, wrote, “Awwww, congratulations you two!! What a beautiful miracle”, while Al Perkins commented, “Wow, I love this.”

The couple were engaged on Sydney Harbour in 2022, one year after filming MAFS.

Kerry and Johnny first met on Season 8 of the show back in 2021. They clicked immediately and quickly became viewers’ favourite couple.

“As soon as I saw her bright smile … the breath just came out of me. She’s stunning, she’s incredible. I seriously cannot wipe this smile off my face,” Johnny told producers during filming.

It was also love at first sight for Kerry, who also told producers: “He put me at ease as soon as I saw him. He looks really kind. I’m stoked.”

One year after filming wrapped, Johnny proposed during a romantic sunset boat ride on Sydney Harbour.

They posted a picture of themselves holding champagne glasses on a boat with huge smiles and an engagement ring by Sydney-based jeweller Nicholas Haywood visible on Knight’s finger, along with the caption: “Forever.”
