WE’RE about to see her put her heart on the line as The Bachelorette. But before that, Sophie Monk is showing us a little more.

The 37-year-old has stripped down in a 1950s-inspired lingering shoot for Aussie label Homebodii. In a confessional video for the brand, which encourages positive body image, Monk giggles as she playfully poses in lacy, vintage-look undergarments and sips champagne with rollers in her hair.

“If I had it my way, I’d wear no make-up,” the bombshell admits in the video. “Ugg boots and probably a T-shirt every day.

“Being different is amazing. And one thing I learnt is you’ve just got to own yourself. Love yourself — not be up yourself.”

Elsewhere in the video campaign, the down-to-earth star admits she “wasn’t desperate to be a celebrity” and talks briefly about her ongoing quest for love.

“Be confident and have fun ... and when the right person comes along I’ll meet them,” she said. “Otherwise you end up meeting someone who’s not good for you.”

She adds: “I feel like in society we’ve been taught to hate women. We should just love each other and take over the whole world. Like, men love each other, we should love each other even more.”

With her high profile ex boyfriends including Hollywood actor Sam Worthington, musician Benji Madden and footballer Eric Grothe Junior, it was announced last month Monk will attempt to find love as the star of Channel Ten’s next season of The Bachelorette.

“I would love them to not want fame, just someone down to earth and sweet,” she told News Corp.

“Someone that really likes me for me. Someone that works because I don’t want to have to pay for everything. Someone who is not competitive. Just a man who has got a good self-esteem.

“I don’t really want a boyfriend that is obsessed with how he looks because I don’t care. And I would love funny but that is tricky.”

Filming for the series is expected to begin in the next few months and will hit television screens later this year.
