Fans outraged by The Bachelor’s cliffhanger ending

FOR the first time in the show’s history, last night’s episode of The Bachelor ended on a cliffhanger during a rose ceremony. And fans were pissed.

LIVID, outraged, incensed, irate ... they’re just some of the words that describe viewers’ reaction to The Bachelor last night.

For the first time in The Bachelor history, last night’s episode ended on a cliffhanger. Here’s a blow by blow description of the frustrating final moments by news.com.au’s James Weir:

The ceremony begins and Matty begins handing out the roses. But as he looks out at the huddled group of shiny faced girls, he stops. His head drops.

Sian looks ... troubled.

Matty places the rose down. And the ceremony is stopped.

The girls look shocked. The screen cuts to black.

The words “To be continued” appear.

In an upsetting cliffhanger, we have to wait until tonight to see how this rose ceremony ends and assess the aftermath of Sian’s destructive meltdown.

Immediately after the episode ended, fuming fans took to social media to vent “fire and fury” at Channel Ten for messing with their emotions.

Here are some of the few tweets that DIDN’T contain swear words:

The Bachelor continues tonight on Channel 10 at 7.30pm
