Elora blasts Matty J’s ‘coward move’ after being kicked off The Bachelor

ELORA was turfed out of the Bachie mansion last night off the back of an incredibly uncomfortable rejection — and she thinks it was a d**k move.

BACHELOR contestant Elora Murger has slammed Matty J for taking the “coward’s” way out and breaking up with her during last night’s brutal episode.

Fresh from dumping Cobie Frost on their single date, the Bachelor returned to the mansion to cancel the cocktail party and dived straight into the rose ceremony, promptly turfing Elora out as well.

It was an abrupt end to Elora’s Bachelor dreams, which reached peak awkward last week when she was brutally rejected as she tried to kiss Matty at the cocktail party.

Viewers were left cringing as he told her: “I’m not going to do that here. I’m not. I just think it’s a little bit disrespectful.”

And according to Elora, he’d been avoiding talking to her ever since.

“I didn’t appreciate the fact that he didn’t go through with the cocktail party because he knew I wanted to talk to him about the kiss,” she complained to news.com.au.

“It was really unfair of him to go straight to the rose ceremony — it was a coward’s move.”

Elora also hit out at Matty J’s double standards when it came to kissing in public areas.

“The episode before that, he took me into the secret garden and kissed me — even when the sound guy was fixing his mic, he kissed me — the chemistry was really intense,” she said.

“I didn’t know about his own ‘rules’ or whether he was kissing girls at cocktail parties, but for sure he was kissing me.”

It definitely seemed like the pair had chemistry.

Despite the high level of outrage from the other girls at the time, Elora claimed none of them even saw what had happened: “You can tell — they asked what happened because they didn’t know, so obviously it wasn’t in front of them!”

After last night’s breakup, Elora realised the writing had been on the wall ever since that awkward moment.

“If I was the one he was in love with he would have handled it differently — he would have kissed me, or maybe just pushed me a little bit further away ... just been a little less dramatic to avoid embarrassing me,” she said.

“I should have read into it a little more.”

The Bachelor airs Wednesday and Thursday nights at 7.30pm on Channel Ten.
