Australian Survivor couple still very much together after finding love in Samoa

LOVED-up Australian Survivor couple Lee Carseldine and El Rowland are about to celebrate their one year anniversary as season two kicks off.

THE love affair that started over a year ago on the windy beaches in Samoa on Australian Survivor is still going strong.

Lee Carseldine and El Rowland met on the show, as they forged a powerful alliance, kicking off one contestant after the other.

Both made the top three, with Rowland coming third and Carseldine not able to convince the jury he was the best player - that honour went to Kristie Bennett.

Neither Carseldine and Rowland expected to meet anyone on the show, and a year later, things are going great.

“It was the last thing on my mind, meeting someone on the Island,” Carseldine told News Corp.

“But I guess the stars aligned and we have a great connection.”

They are still very happily together, living in Brisbane.

There have been challenges, but the couple are going well.

“When you decompress from the Survivor world, you have to go into the real world,” Carseldine said.

“You have to work hard in the real world.

“There are challenges, we have a blended family, but it’s been going really well.”

The couple say they are not sure when they will celebrate their first anniversary, either when they met first in Samoa, or when they started dating once the show finished.

The second series of Australian Survivor will start on Channel 10 on Sunday, at 7.30pm.
