Actress Francesa Curran doesn’t look anything like her Orange Is The New Black character

ACTRESS Francesa Curran plays the ruthless neo-Nazi skinhead on Netflix’s hit prison drama Orange Is The New Black but, in real life, she looks totally different.

YOU won’t believe what Orange Is The New Black’s Skinhead Helen looks like in real life.

Fans of the Netflix series are used to seeing actress Francesca Curran completely bald playing a neo-Nazi Litchfield prisoner, The Sun reports.

In the show Francesca plays a white supremacist who has no qualms with turning to violence when disrespected.

To look the part, Curran had to shave off her long locks — and keep it that way.

In a recent interview with Insider, Francesca admitted she has to go through quite a make-under during the days she is filming.

Her transformation includes getting her head shaved daily and having star tattoos applied to her face, neck and arms.

She’s also given undereye circles, eyebrow whitening, and grey makeup is applied to her teeth to make them look unclean.

It can take up to three-and-a-half hours to transform her into Skinhead Helen.

When she not filming the show she says she wears different wigs, and likes to look pretty: “In real life, I’m so feminine. I’m so girlie. I love my makeup, I love my jewellery and all that.”

The fifth season of Orange Is The New Black is available to stream on Netflix now.
